First one lasted 18 months

This is a replacement for the first one that lasted 18 months in our new home. Since the cabinets were cut to fit the GE microwave we had no choice but to buy another one or I would have tried a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped heating 2 times

Bought with new house, stopped heating food after 11 months, warranty repaired it. worked good for another 10 months, now same problem, won't heat food. Wish I would have never bought it. Now I'm stuck trying to decide if we should chance another one, as we purchased the very expensive trim kit that only goes with GE microwaves. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!

Had to get a replacement in just a few years

I got a replacement through my home warranty company. I would get something else but they won't allow. I guess I am giving GE a second chance.

Bought this about 1 week ago and am still learning how to use it. It did not come with a complete user guide book but can request one to come by mail. For what I have used it for so far it seems to be a good buy.

It is nice and spacious. The only drawbacks are that you have to press the upper part of the door to make it close completely. That section shows fingerprints.

highly disappointed

This microwave was installed on 5/12/2017, then to my surprise on 5/14/2017 while I was using it to warm my food it just made a spark noise and literally just turned off and stopped working. First I thought it was the outlet but my husband and I realized that it was not because every other appliance was working fine when we turned them on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a replacement for me and I love it. I have only had GE microwaves and they have always lasted a long time. I love all the features it has and I know I will be enjoying it for many years.
