Replaced GE Profile Microwave

A couple weeks ago our old GE Profile Microwave went out and since it was built in above my oven I wanted to replace it with the same identical model. Could not find the exact model number on line, therefore I called the GE office and was given the replacement model which I had to order on line and also had to order and replace the inside frame that the Microwave would sit on inside the opening. I was very concerned about the new product fitting where the old one was and also the bracket assembly that was to be screwed into the cabinet. I took the frame out of the packing and placed it in the opening where the old frame was unscrewed from the cabinet and the old screw holes were exactly perfect for the new frame, within minutes I had assembled the new Microwave and bracket and everything was working great.

Our assessment review is honest and objective to our best ability. We are admittedly a bit disappointed with this product. It runs well but makes more noise than any we have owned previously. We were also disappointed to find out after we got it delivered that customers cannot manage or control the power setting. All previous microwaves allowed us to choose what power setting would be better based on item we wish to thaw, warm up or heat. This product does not provide any power settings thus it always operates at 100% full power and only allows us to choose time settings regardless of item we wish to warm or thaw. We do not recall any information being provided which informs potential buyers that power cannot be customized.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave was just installed today and is working great. It is replacing our prior GE microwave was lasted 19 years. Hope this one lasts as long.
