Our old GE Profile microwave finally wore out. We were thrilled that we could go buy a new one and it still fit in the wall conversion kit used 10+ years ago. Thank you for maintaining consistency!

Lasted less than 4 years!

Had to replace this GE microwave with the same exact model because we already owned the trim kit and it was also built in to a kitchen cabinet. The original did not even last 4 years! Very disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unit came with the newly built home we purchased, wouldn't of been my first choice but I'm pleasantly surprised on how well this unit works, heats evenly and thoroughly, easy to keep clean

Slight upgrade from 2006 model.

Our old ge profile died from 2006 and this looks to be the same except
Numbers are smaller, why reduce the size?
Sensor choices not explained
No manuals or quick start, why do I have to find a pdf manual?
Keyboard locks up and it takes a few different combinations to get it to work
Seems a little louder than previous model from 2006.
We like the new GE emblem on front, nice finish look

I just bought this microwave for the second time. The first time, it broke over and over and GE kept coming out to fix it. I had it fixed under warranty several times and then out of warranty, but the same thing kept happening which was it would stop working (meaning wouldn't heat anything up) but it would hum even though it was off so the only way to keep it turned off is to leave the door open. I would never have bought the same model again but it is the only one that fits the hole... so I am trying again, hoping the first one was a lemon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have this microwave in a new home for 4 months and like it. Nice size, good features for time and power. Like the extra 30 seconds button.
