Three Microwaves, all defective

We returned the first 2 upon receipt because the door stuck closed and the buttons required repeated pressing. This third one has a plastic “bolt” that is too small for the hole on the wave cover, so it constantly falls out.. We have to find it in the microwave and put it back on. This didn’t start until about 3 month after purchase, long after the 30 day return window. Now the wave cover is arcing. Replacing the defective wave cover will not fix it because the hole they drilled holding the cover in place is too large. No more GE for us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My first one died just before a year, then the replacement waited until 15 months then it died. I won’t be buying a third!!

2nd Unit has failed in less than 4 years

This was the unit that was installed in our house when it was built. That unit failed after about 2 years. We bought the same unit as a replacement, and now it's dead after 2 years. Extremely disappointed with this product - and from the reviews I have read here on the site, it seems I'm not alone in my experience. Sincerely doubt I'll be buying another GE appliance to replace it.

Microwave broke and require replacement equivalent

My microwave broke multiples times and my warranty covered until now. But now again it broke but I am out of warranty. This model is no longer available, I need to know the replacement model number which is available now so that I can use the same trim package.

This microwave was included with our new build house that we closed on in March 2016, now it is September 2019 and the microwave has went kapoot. Before this the microwave would also go out randomly when cooking and I would have to flip the breaker. Now o see they dont even sell this model anymore and I cant even buy a replacement without having to buy a new trim kit with it too. Highly disappointed that this microwave barely lasted, only had a 1 year warranty and is already discontinued.

I've had this product for less than 3 years and it has stopped working. I would not recommend this product at all. There's clearly a quality issue with this model as displayed by all the negative reviews. GE really needs to help their customers out.
