Worked great while it lasted

This microwave stop working a few months ago, I need to replace this with another one of the same size, it has a frame of the same material that covers the cabinet where it’s mounted , can you please provide info on a similar size model that would have the same dimensions.

We think that model PEB7227ANDD is a great choice for your space. It does have the same dimensions as your previous model. Also, we want to mention that it does require it's own trim kit. We recommend going with the stainless steel trims. JX7230SLSS for the 30 inch and JX7227ELES for the 27 inch. Not being manufactured

Issues and then just quit working

Experienced sparking after a couple years of use and now it just totally quit working. Even worse, there is not a replacement that my current trim kit is compatible with and the newer models and trim kits don’t fit in our existing space in our kitchen. A poor quality product has now led to a construction project. We won’t be going with GE again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Same problem with everyone else

About 3 weeks ago the Same problem as everyone else on the thread happened to me seems like they were good for the first year or two. I try to stay optimistic and look for the positive reviews but after 15 minutes of reading reviews, I have yet to find one. Mine is doing the same as others, sparking for no reason. I've done all the online research I could and can't come up with anything. I worry if I replace the magnetron or other parts it'll just fault when we're not around. I have 4 kids in my home and I don't want the anxiety of being that stressed just trying to pop some popcorn. Mine is with a trim kit, built into my cabinets. OF COURSE this model is no longer available and both microwave and trim kit are useless. I now have to spend close to one thousand for a new microwave and trim kit and being someone who enjoys aesthetics will eventually have to replace all my appliances to match the new one.
Which I'm already starting because conveniently my GE dryer heating element went out the week after the microwave (purchased same time).
I would assume the product is no longer manufactured because there was something wrong with all of them. Just sucks I'm having to buy a new microwave, trim kit and dryer. and because of my ocd, the rest of my appliances as well. It's probably smart to start replacing anyway with how long it takes product to get it. I was shopping fridges and the soonest I could get one was weeks out, that's a long time to not have a fridge.

Like the recent reviews state, ours also sparked before dying. Not sure what GE packed into this model to make them all go kaput at the same time.

Garbage

We have had numerous issues with this microwave. Arcing for no apparent reason, won’t heat, etc.
