spark, caught fire and burnt

While I was reseraching for a replacement model for this microwave, I saw so many same comments - spark and caught fire issue. I was not alone, luckily I was on the spot and catch the spark and fire.
I am desperate, not sure if I should get another replacement like this or I have to buy an expensive trim kit to get a safer model which could be a costly replacement.

Microwave doesn't stop running with the door open

We've had this microwave for more than 8 years now. It worked great up until recently. For some reason, the microwave keeps going when we open the microwave door and after the cook time has ended. It's actually quite worrisome because our kids use the microwave. And when they open the door and the microwave is still running, I don't know if they are getting hit with microwaves or something.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fire Hazard

Like other accounts, the microwave started sparking and smoking when reheating food. I replaced this same unit at my own cost about 7 years ago when the original unit failed. Certainly not looking forward to the cost of replacing this unit and another mounting/trim kit.

Less than 7 year old unit. Sparks very frequently. Magnetron was already replaced once.

Same, also ended up almost catching fire. Had already been getting noisy with melting butter. Today a tiny bag of microwave popcorn did it in. Do not recommend.

PEB7226SFSS no longer works

Microwave sparked and no longer will heat. Was hoping to replace with same model so it would fit and match the stainless steel trim...no such luck! Disappointed due to having G.E. Monogram stove, fridge, and dishwasher...matching stainless steel maybe difficult.
