Microwave runs but doesn't heat up

I got all GE appliances with my new home in 2017 and been having issues with multiple appliances. My Washer died in 2021 and i had to replace the control board. Couple of year i ended up replacing the power board. Now my Microwave does not work any longer. It runs though it doesn't heat up. These microwaves with trim kits are very expensive and i don' t want to be spending that much money every 5 years. I am starting to lose my faith in GE products and feel like i should start looking at LG or samsung. Is anyone else seeing same issues with GE appliances?

Great until suddenly stop working

It was the BEST microwave but out of the blue started to make a cracking noise sparks came out inside de unit and a burnt black spot is now inside. I am so lucky it didnt cause a fire. But apparently there is no replacement for this microwave… and i really need same measurements for it to fit inside the trim.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave caught fire

This microwave began sparking and caught on fire. It is unsafe and will endanger your home and family. It needs a recall.

Can not recommend. My father worked for age for 30+ years and we had a house full of GE appliances but I’ve been so disappointed in all the GE appliances in my new construction home. I’ve already replaced the dishwasher, stove vent hood, and now the microwave and I’m dissatisfied with the cooktop. I’m devastated on the quality.
