Beware, Fire Danger

Like many other reviewers have mentioned lately, mine is arcing and an absolute fire danger. Trying to replace with something similar, but wary of the brand now despite having used them exclusively in my past 3 homes.

Fire 🔥 Hazard

This product almost cost our house on fire. Does anyone know if there is a class action lawsuit yet. I saw a bunch of other reviews and post with the same issue.

Caution Fire Danger

We installed this microwave new approximately 7 years ago but it recently made a loud noise and started arcing while in use. Luckily, I was at the microwave when it happened and immediately shut it off. When I opened the door, smoke rolled out of the microwave and I immediately grabbed the fire extinguisher just in case it got worse.
If you have this microwave, either monitor it while in use or replace it.

Needs to be recalled

It looks like I’m having the same problem that everyone else is: microwave started arcing it for no reason and caused horrible, burnt wire smell. I called GE and they confirmed that this model has not been recalled yet. I guess my next step is to file a complaint with GE. I am very skeptical of buying this brand again.

A few days ago this product started smoking and burnt on the side, out of nowhere. Very dangerous. The side has a burnt spot that looks like it was coming from the inside panel.

Arcing and Sparking damaged interior housing

My daughter was heating up one of those breakfast in a cup oatmeal servings. It started arcing and sparking and fortunately I was able to knock her out of the way in time and pull the plug before she was injured. I noticed several other similar complaints with this product when I tried to find service options.
