Sparked and burnt the inside like everyone else

Same fire hazard issue as many others. It sparked near the waveguide cover and left a burnt spot. This microwave should be recalled and I’m disappointed it didn’t last longer. I’m a bit upset that there isn’t a replacement that will fit in the same built in area with the trim kit we have.

Under normal usage, the microwave began to spark and flame. It is a fire hazard. I have a photo but was not able to upload in “add images”

There was sparking and fire from the microwave, good thing wife was around to shut it, else it could have been a serious fire issue

I thought I was the only one with the microwave catching on fire until I read theses reviews. This is definitely a manufacturer defective!!
THESE MICROWAVES SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED YEARS AGO!
Very poor management on GE's part.
Check out the attached pictures. Not normal.

Defective item with no replacement option!

We're having the same issue as many of the other reviewers…bought this GE Profile microwave in slate and as an entire, matching kitchen appliance set. Refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, etc. The microwave started arching and totally caught fire. Not only are we out a very pricey appliance that is way too new to be having these issues, but there’s not even a replacement option. This microwave is practically brand new, as we try to do our main cooking/warming on the stove. We feel incredibly disappointed, ripped off, and optionless. Be aware, there’s a major defect with this specific brand/model!
