Excellent Microwave with great features.

This is the second GE Microwave this size and features that I have purchased. The first one I purchased in 2002 and decided to replace it before it "died" on me! This one is very similar. The buttons I use all the time are 1-6 minute buttons, add 30 second button, potato button, popcorn button and of course the defrost! Hopefully this one will last me another 12 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the use of this unit for 12 hours and used it once and like it fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Even food prep everytime

Previously we had a cheap microwave from another manufacturer that provided uneven slow heating. Since we purchased this microwave cooking in the microwave never brings up the issue of is the food done since it is prepared correctly the first time every time. The push button controls give a greater sense of speed when you are looking to heat for under five minutes but by pushing the reheat button the guess work is totally removed from using the microwave. I put in leftovers from a previous meal and pressed the reheat button and the food tasted and had the consistency of a freshly prepared meal. This is a great microwave but if you don't believe me try it out and you will also be impressed.

Sleek Looking Microwave

Replaced a 10-year old version of a similar model. The new one is super quiet and hardly makes any noise. The addition of an "Add 30 seconds" button makes quick use of the microwave very easy.

I have been replacing our 13 year old GE appliances with new GE appliances. We couldn't be happier with the quality and durability of the GE products. Dishwasher is next!
