Not as good as our previous GE microwave

Bought this product based on my previous similar model that croaked just after the 5-year warrantee expired... This model is slightly less powerful, noisier, and the buttons are smaller and harder to push. I would recommend a friend to shop around to compare features. I had to buy this from the warehouse, sight unseen, based on previous good experience. I also had the extra expense of buying a new trim kit because it was larger by 1/2 inch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great easy to figure out features, especially for teenagers. The door sticks a little,but with time I think that will resolve.

More Than We Expected!

We have had this appliance less than a month and are totally blown away by the depth of the microwave. Excellent for large casserole containers, has great visual screen and looks great.

Worked great until now

I bought this microwave about 10 weeks ago. It has worked fine. Its not hard to figure out and start using right away. I love the slate. However, it has just quit working. The power comes on but I does not heat or cook. Unfortunately, this is the second of my new GE appliances I have had a significant problem with within a couple of months of purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
