the display does not light up, need a flash light

This came with an upgrade to our home, with a fridge and oven. I like it a lot with the exception of the display. I cannot read it at all unless I turn on the kitchen lights...it is very dark in there most times, I must leave a flash light near the stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this unit 5 months ago. This unit fits the intended space and it very sharp looking. So far I have not experienced any issues and it is easy to learn to use.

Finally, last slate appliance in place

Had to wait to get this at our local store. We like its size and look. Features are what are expected of this size/price microwave. Really like the simple express settings for the kids. We went without a microwave for 2 years (after old one died) and finally decided to fill the kitchen cabinet space with this model. Really like having the microwave back.

I've had this Microwave for about 6 months now and it does its job very well and looks great too. The stainless steel is a little more maintenance than other finishes, but wiping it down weekly keeps it spotless. I love mine

Really like the clear instructions for reducing power level to accommodate different kinds of foods and for reheating. It's also quiet and the door sounds solid when opening and closing.

Great microwave

I got 12 years out of my last GE profile microwave. The model I had is not available any longer. I purchased the closest model with the same deminsions. The new one was delivered and I had the built in replaced in 15 minutes. Piece of cake.

Good Microwave - Caution with trim kit

Good microwave with easy push button controls/features. A few thing to note; first off teres a cardbard-like piece inside the microwave that is difficult to clean as it is absorbet in natur. I can see this being smething that will eventually need to be replaced. Secondly is the S/S trim kit that I purchased for this unit (my microwave is a built-in I needed this) It doesn' line up just right and it catches the microwave door when its opened. Not a big del, but something to think about if you ned to purchase the trim kit. Lastly is the trim kit eposes severalgaps around the microwave that isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, again it looks okay, just not perfect.
