Didn't work at all. I've used this ink for years with my HP3700 series printer, but this ink simply wouldn't work at all. Tried everything I knew. Ended up having to buy new printer and new ink.

I have had this printer for years. It is the HP ENVY 4500. I have bought the same ink for years. I urgently needed ink so I figured I would buy it straight from the source to ensure I didn’t have any problems and when I replaced my ink, the printer kept saying replace cartridge and would not work. However, if I put the old ink back in it was fine, but obviously out of ink. I am going to try purchasing at a store, but if it does not work, then did the ink change?

I bought a new one and my HP printer says it'd old. They dont last long, and they are expensive. The insane process aligning the cartridge uses too much precious ink.
