In a sense, you are right. We do advertise that you will get more than 50 pages. Still, there are many reasons a customer will get less ink than advertised. The first reason is that the ink cartridge is dry or leaking. You might also get less ink if you fill the pages with images, tables, diagrams, and other ink-intensive items. The ink is saved by turning off the printer. It covers the cartridges, therefore preserving the cartridge.
