I have been printing my 2 page resume, cover letter and envelope to go with it, each week doing about 30. Each black cartridge seems to last only 1 week. I'm concerned that I'm getting well below the 'up to 180 pages'. I can't afford to keep buying ink every week.
That said, I have no smears and the ink itself seems to be of good quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reliable ink for a good price

I've had my HP printer for several years, and it has given me few problems. The 61 ink does a good job for all sorts of documents. I recommend it!

Printer Ink ,Cheaper than any other outlet, Love the Deskjet 3050 J610 Had it for about ayear and a half.

I've tried other cartridges that have been refurbished and was totally disappointed. I'm sticking with HP brand. I 've never had a problem with them. They always perform very well.
