These ink jet cartridges do the trick fine but I'm always amazed at how fast they run out given the fact that I print so infrequently. Also this time the shipping was not particularly prompt. I order "Next Day" and it actually took four days.
I had been buying economy 61 cartridges for years and they were drying out more quickly each time over the past few years. So this time I purchased the regular, not economy, and the print quality is so much worse. Had IT person see if it was a printer setting and it was not. I would hope to receive some type of compensation for the blind loyalty the I have afforded HP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bentley,
I'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the print quality. When it appears that poor print quality was due to a defect, contact us about returning the cartridge. The return and exchange process is covered, step-by-step, at: store.hp.com/us/en/cv/returnsandexchanges
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage: - Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help stretch out black, and colored ink - Using the black-only setting, when appropriate, will save on colored ink usage. - Shut the printer down between uses; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying. - Consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans let you pay by the page. Check out the details at: instantink.com
Great ink cartridges that HP printer which is superb! I also own an HP laptop which is EXTREMELY high end and easy to use. However I guess I am a bit biased since I worked for the company as a DB2 DBA in Palo Alto following my MS in M.I.S. from the University of Arizona in 1985: February 1987 to July 1992.
