My hp printer will not accept any other brand or even refills of their own cartridges so I have to buy the brand name or the printer won't read it (use it). So, I can't compare it with any other type but it works as intended. I usually buy the higher yield because I do a lot of printing but when money is an issue, I'll buy the one that prints fewer copies per cartridge.
Usually the ink is perfect, but after I put this one in my printer I had to print things several times and there was something a little off with the coloring. Obviously this is the printer have so I will need to keep buying this ink but maybe just pick it up in store

Alignment uses too much ink. Cartridge occasionally comes up as not a legitimate HP cartridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
I am sorry that the display is showing an error message sometimes. I hope you find that it works well for you otherwise!
If the printer and the cartridge do not have a good connection, you will occasionally get an error. You can take the cartridge out and make sure that the copper contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer are clear of any tape residue or fingerprints (wipe with lint-free material, if they seem to need it).
Then, you can reinsert it, being careful to make sure it is firmly seated in its slot. If that doesn't help, you can do a power reset (unplug while it is turned on, wait a bit and then plug back in).
If it is not working correctly, you can contact us for support: hp.com/contactHP
my computer told me I need a new black cartridge so that my printer would continue printing well I got one and printer still not printing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble printing even with a new black cartridge. Hopefully, we can help the situation.
It sounds like there might be a problem with the printer itself. Please consider contacting us for help. You can use a contact method found at: hp.com/contactHP
