HP ink tricolor cartridges come well packaged and have a return mailer for the spent cartridges to be recycled. To install just remove the protective tape and install. No leakage or mess.

In my experience, the HP Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge is a good match for the HPXL black ink cartridge. I have found, that for my printing needs, both cartridges are used up close to the same time. Both perform very well.
