3rd but not last Brother Printer

When my old (15 year laser died) I needed a quick replacement. I did quick research and came back to Brother. This is my third printer from Brother. They all set up quickly and easily. I am constantly amazed at how much feature and function can be put into a small footprint for a very good price. I would recommend this HL-2270 DW to anyone looking for a home / small-business laser printer.

My First Laser Printer

I've owned 3 inkjet printers in the past and have had problems with all of them. The ink expense and clogging of the of the print heads finally drove me to research a better choice. After reading reviews and considering prices on various Manufacture's models, I decided on the Brother HL-2270 DW. I don't generally write reviews, but after using this neat little printer, I was definitely inspired to share my great satisfaction with this purchase. If you're in the market for a laser printer....GET THIS ONE !!! It's compact in size and does everything well. If I had one wish it would be that Brother would make an inexpensive color version of this model.

HL-2270DW

As with the printer this product replaced, the HL2270 was better than I expected. I have used it now for a couple of months and very pleased with its performance. It does what it claims it can do and with very good image reproduction.

This printer is a welcome change from an inkjet printer since it will print "gray tones" with just the one black cartridge. Quality of print is excellent.

thinks that the toner cart is bad way too much of the time even after replacing it. Recently decided to lose all of its network settings.
