Great print fast setup quirky msgs

I upgraded from an earlier version to get duplex printing. I liked the previous wireless Brother 2170W but found it hard to setup (needed help from Tech Support to be successful). This one was easy and quick to get going on network. The 2270W has all the advantages and is even faster in pages per minute.
Its only drawback is that for the first page after startup it displays a msg on screen saying it can not find the network. Then a few seconds later it prints as requested but leaves that msg on screen saying that it has a problem.

I welcomed this new "Brother" to my family. Speed is excellent and built-in duplex is a long desired option.

The printer is an excellent value, however there are a couple things that could be better.
Printing envelopes is a definite pain. The instructions on orientation of the print mater needs to be shown in the instructions.

We purchased our Brother HL-2270DW to replace a unit at the end of its life cycle and to assist in the preparation of a program (booklet) for our local senior center. The Brother solution center makes it easy to set up for multiple page and duplex / booklet printing and we are using the feature much more than we originally anticipated. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

The technical info about the wireless was confusing and made it hard to it working wireless. If the instructions could be improved this is an excellent product.

I got this printer because I was tired of changing inkjet cartridges, and more than that, paying for them. I am very pleased with speed and quality of printing. I am especially happy that it has the ability to do two-sided printing, so I am able to save on paper as well. Great buy!

A very fine printer. Easy to operate,fast and reliable. The duplex feature is an added bonus as is the toner save function by reducing paper and toner costs. the HL-2270DW is a great value and based on my experience i would recommend it to anyone contemplating purchasing a personal/small office printer.Skipper
