I use a mobile hotspot to enable internet access on my laptop. I have to disable that to access the wireless features of my printer. Now the wireless communication to the printer doesn't work at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This printer is rated best in the consumer report. I replaced old brother printer with this one especially for duplex printing. As with the previous model, I am very happy with this model. It is simple to hook up and very economical with friendly controls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the speed and ease of using my newer wireless model but lately have had a few instances where I change the toner cartridge but the printer doesn't seem to recognize that, and keeps telling me to change it again. However, it still keeps on printing. I keep hoping this will magically work itself out because I am so fond of the speed and quality of the printouts. If not for the this, I would have given it a 5-star rating.

Good printer with a lot of nice bells and whistles. Only complaint is the single sheet feed frequently skews the sheet so it doesn't print perfectly straight. The automatic duplex is a fantastic improvement over the older printers and wireless is flawless. Now I don't have to leave my computer on for her to have a network printer.

No more ink!

It's perfect for our needs. We don't print frequently so our ink would always dry out and that was throwing money away. This one will be ready when we need it and the wireless compatability was a snap to set up and very convenient.

Great Printer

I am extremelly impressed with how easy this was to set up and the quality of the printing. For a relatively inexpensive printer this machine puts out a high quality end product with great clarity.
I was most impressed with how easy it was to set up the wireless network with this printer and to get our PC's and Mac's all working quickly with it.
Highly recommended.

I really like the printer and everything about it EXCEPT - it keeps saying it is off line or idle and won't print what I send to it. We have 2 computers - printer is wireless. Sometimes one computer can make it print and not the other. Other than that it is great, I love laser printers and especially when I can print to both sides!

Best printer for my home with 6 computers, no problem setting up wireless connections for all computers in a three story home. Great print quality and speed. Recommended to son in law and he also purchased one. When need I will buy another brother printer in a heartbead.
