Great purchase

1st time Brother customer! I purchased this printer because it was rated well, printed fast, the cost of ink/toner is much more reasonable than inkjets, and it is small and lightweight. I couldn't be happier. In a hurry, I quickly set it up initially as a local printer connected by usb cable. When I had more time, I set it up wirelessly. Not a single problem. Instructions were clearly written. Thank you. Hopefully it will continue to perform carefree.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A must have for low cost, high volume B&W printing. Sleek design, minimal footprint, excellent print quality, easy set up, wireless operation, and dual sided printing. Also prints with the Brother I print & scan app. for mobile devices, which are very useful to me.

I've only been using it for a month or so however, so far installation and wireless setup was pretty straight forward. Print quality is very good. Does cause my UPS to alarm occasionally when first starting up due to excessive current draw however, could be my UPS has an issue and not the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lowest Quality, Constant Paper Jams

“Paper Jam” error goes off after every single sheet printed when there is no jam. Barely out of warranty, barely used, and the help desk told me to go buy a new one and gave me a link to this page. Barely made it through the starter ink cartridge that comes with a new machine, changed toner, had a jam on the first print, and have had errors ever since. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACKING QUALITY, LACKING DURABILITY
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE PRINTER OPERATES VERY WELL AND IS FAST. NOT EXPERIENCED ANY PROBLEM. IT DOES THE JOB AND IS BETTER THAN THE INK JET PRINTER. THE CARTRIDGE IS A LITTLE PRICY BUT IT DOES NOT DRY OUT LIKE THE INK CARTRIDGES IF YOU DON'T USE IT FOR A LONG TIME,

Sweet little printer with excellent performance. While it is advertised as a "Network Wireless Printer" after many hours of trying with hp techs I finally just went out and bought a cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
