Received and hook up in a couple of minutes. Worked immediately and has kept working ever since. Great print quality and I would recommend to anybody.

Had purchased a new computer with Win7 and old printer didn't have drivers available so rushed out and purchased what was in stock. Have other brother items so picked this one along with the 2 sided printing. Easy to set up, great printing. Complaints are the fan noise (others have reported this) and not easy to switch between paper sizes (wish it had sheet feeder). Have to pull printer away from wall to use legal size paper as the tray sticks out the back. When sitting on a desk this can be a major problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

EZ set-up and works excellent. No downtime. First wireless device we've used and makes things simple. Toner usaeage seems good.

Inexpensive, easy-to-use duplex laser printer

Pros:
* Wireless setup was the best/easiest I have ever experienced (including multiple other wireless printers).
* Very fast to start printing the first page.
* Good overall print speed.
* Monitor applet is very handy.
* Price is very reasonable.

well worth it

After years of trying, finally got home wireless network operating properly. Was time to get a printer to go with it. Checked the different low cost laser printers available and the reviews attached to them and decided that the brother was the best buy around. Out of the box, took about a half hour to have it on the network and working with 3 wireless and 2 wired computers. Seamless. Been running for about two months and still waiting for the starter cassette to run out. Money well spent.
