I have used Brother printers for some time starting with 2240 and now HL-2270. It is reliable and produces excellent prints.

Wired setup is pretty much plug and play. Had difficulty with the wireless setup for another pc although that was eventuallly resolved.

Workhorse

I've had this printer for a week using in a trade show environment and it has proven to be a fast little workhorse. Wireless set up is easy and efficient. By the time I print the document (multiple pages) and walk 20 feet to the printer, it's spitting out the pages perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I replaced a non-network laser printer with this one and it works GREAT. Much faster and double-sided printing to boot! Connecting to the network was easy. I highly recommend this one.

Excellent for home and office

Most of my printing is letters and agreements and I had gotten tired of replacing the color cartridges on another brand's all-in-one even though I was only (theoretically) printing black only. This monochrome laser has been outstanding, and I recently replaced the original cartridge and found it to be easy to do, especially after doing a Google search and finding a video that walked me through the process. At the same time I bought this unit, I bought a Brother all-in-one which likewise has been excellent and which I use for color printing as well as scanning and faxing. A great, dynamic duo.

Love printer! My printed documents are clear and sharp. I have achieved my goal of finding a sturdy black and white printer. Since most of what I print is black & white, I am saving money with this printer.
Quick Setup graphics w/poor detail, which could be solved with a full labeled diagram of printer & a few tweaks.

I use this printer on my desk at work. I print out emails and health insurance paperwork. The printing is crisp and clear and the speed is good.
