This is a fine printer that I expect will meet my needs for a very long time. I hope so, because I bought 2 toner cartridges for it.

I can't believe this is such a sophisticated product for such a low price. Its fast, high-quality printing on both sides of the paper surpasses anything I expected to get in my price range. I don't know who the brothers are, but you're geniuses.

Great Printer for the Price!

I bought this printer after carefully considering all other brand printers with similar features. I also gave much consideration to the cost of toner refills. I have had this new Brother HL-2270DW for appx. 90 days. It is easy to use and to my surprise I use the duplexing feature more than I thought, which saves on paper usage as well. I like this printer very much and have no regrets. It is blazing fast! The only small dislike is when I print envelopes it puts a crease on the envelope. Overall I am more than satisfied with this printer and even recommended it to my boss to purchase for the company.

HL-2270DW can't print envelopes!!!

Without a doubt, this printer would be a 5 star for me if it could only print an envelope without folding it, angling it, etc., etc.
It is absolutely the worst envelope printer I have ever used. Useless in this regard. What a shame!
It would be nice if someone from Brother contacted me to correct this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a great printer

I purchased the BortherHL-2270dw yesterday. I need it for letter writing. The price was great and the quality of printing is outstanding. This is by far one of the best printers I have ever owned and I have owned many. It only prints in black but that was what I was looking for. The speed of printing is very fast and prints on both sides of the paper reducing paper waste.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been very pleased with my new printer. I was worried that I would miss the color printer but since I am a teacher I find I don't need it. My papers are always neat and clear. I love being able to use the properties when I print also. It does cut down on using all that ink.
