Bought two for B&W printing. Fast, reliable, excellent support when needed
Reduce total printing cost by sparing use of high end HP Color printer when color not needed

Excellent value for the $'s

Set-up was easy for both Windows 7 and XP machines on my network. Wireless connection has performed without flaw. Like the feature of automatic notice of firmware updates. Down loaded and installed simple and quick. Duplex feature has certainly saved us reams of paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer and superior support

This is my third or fourth printer from Brother. They work better than advertised. They are generally easy to set up but I had some difficulty setting up the wireless connection to the 2270 printer. A call to their support unit had me up and working in less than 20 minutes. Unlike other companies, they don't hide their support phone number, they are eager to help and well-trained and knowledgable.
I now have three printers from Brother and I would consider a Brother machine before any other printer on the market, especially because of the support. The 2270 is beautifully designed and compact. It is fast and the print quality is superb. The initial cost and the cost for toner and ink is lower than the competion by a long shot. All around I recommend buying from Brother.

It prints awesome and I have had no problems with it. I would buy it again but the replacement toners are a little costly. Good Product and the printing quality is very good.

Disappointing Toner Consumption

Good price, good print quality, reasonably fast printing, relatively easy set up. BUT, I am averaging LESS THAN ONE REAM of paper for each toner cartridge. I have reset the default settings to use less ink, but that doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I have had the printer about three months, and I am now on my third ink cartridge. I now use my inkjet printer as my default printer instead of the Brother laser!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
