Great for single side prints

We have two of these printers in use at the office, so I bought one for home since the price was good. In use at home, it was very fast for a large number of single sided prints for a recent mailing. When I later did two-sided printing its speed was only acceptable. Also, use of 3 hole punched paper causes the paper to jam, so one must punch the pages after printing. A paper jam can require opening the back side, and at home this requires taking it off of the shelf. That is not an issue at the office,where it is on a desk. It is a great printer, with these few caveats.
I would recommend this to a friend!

got this about 8 mounth ago only print shipping address from thing i sell on ebay. less than 100 sheet of paper so far. about 60 days ago it quit working call suport had me check things that i did and still no go . sent me a reman used it about 3 time and quit working same as last one. need tp print shipping address. so I got my old out of the junkbox plug it in and it worked fine maybee i should have not got the newer one. so any way brither is sending me another reman wonder how long it is going to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great little printer

Got this for the duplex printing at home. Good print quality and paper saver. Compact footprint and easy to use. Mine is hard wired so I cant comment as to the wireless feature.

Bought this model for my home office on April 19 and it has been operating great. The printing is fast and once in sleep mode it is very quiet.

Expensive to use

This printer uses toner much faster than it says. I would have given more stars but feel the need to give some balance because this printer cost per page is through the roof. I should be getting close to one toner per case of paper based on usage. As it is I am using about six toners per box of paper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Laser Printer

I really enjoy using this laser printer. For years I used inkjet and as much as I liked it, the cost of the ink cartridges was hurting. So I decided to try a laser printer and I have used brother equipment before and had good luck. Bought one, tried it, and love it. And I can send the empty cartridge back free. Works great and have never had a problem with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thought moving to laser would be wise. Not with this printer. Greatly overrated. Copy quality is lousy. Number of copies greatly exaggerated. Overpriced for what you get.
