A very good printer for the price. It does everything well, but not spectacular. Print quality is OK, speed is OK, envelope printing is OK, the control is easy to use. The HP-2270HP is an out-standing printer for home use. I would rate this as 4 1/2 for its intended pupose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great machne, exceptional cost when compared to replacing toner and drum on older brother. this is my 4th brother printer and is the best one to date.
I especially like the ease of printing on both sides.

Like this printer very much and well worth the money. Easy to install (I used a cable). Prints quickly and clearly. Love the automatic duplex print option. Only negative is feeding of envelopes requires opening the back of the machine. This is not convenient. If you need to print envelopes, then consider a different printer.

This is a very good printer, and when you consider the cost, it is excellent. I bought this desktop laser so I would not go broke feeding new carts to my inkjet printer. For B&W documents it print quality is very acceptable. The wireless feature works well, and the duplex printing helps with paper costs too. Buy One ! It will pay for itself in less than 4 months if you are currently using a inkjet.

I bought the printer for its higher capacity printing capabilities. This printer is great and has done everything I have asked it to do. I really like being able to print on both sides of a page.

Little Workhorse

Best little printer I've ever bought. Prints fast, doesn't use much toner, easy to set up with the network. The print quality is excellent. I bought it for myself, but my Wife uses it over the network more than I do! I need to buy more paper :)

This is the first Laser printer I have ever owned. I wish I had elected to purchased one sooner. The printout is very good, clear & precise. The functioning of the printer is excellent. All works well, have never experienced a paper jam or any other problem. I would highly recommend this printer. I do a lot of black & white printing, almost using my laser printer every day. It's a workhorse & completely dependable. I highly recommend it for excellent performance & economically.
