Dims the lights

When the printer starts it draws high current causing the printer to switch to the battery backup in my UPS--uninterruptable power supply. Also causes back and forth switching before going to sleep. I've connected the printer to a separate circuit and it dims the lights. Brother tech support says this feature is for instant printing, i.e., rapid first copy out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THis printer is great for my low volume document needs.
Wireless network access and Duplexing are great features.

Great compact laser printer

Excellent Product

The machine works great. For the price I have never found a laser printer that prints on both sides and wireless.
It is great and fast and easy to install. Our company are software developers and I bet we have sold a least 75 of those printers for you. Our software requires pcl5 and well as pcl6
Also the support is the best I have ever dealt withh. Again a great product at a great price.....

No problems whatsoever. Easy set-up, no problems printing. I also have a Brother laser all-in-one and never had a problem. I've had it for years. Wireless and the duplex printing is a must.

This printer was purchased to replace a color ink jet printer, copier, scanner that was lousy.
Easy set up. Very fast. Excellent print quality. I do wish it had copy and scanning capabilities though. If it had this it would be the best thing since sliced bread. As a printer I highly recommend this product.
