Toner rip-off

The printer is wonderful but it forces you to replace the toner way too early.

Toner Does Not Develop

Not happy that the toner does not develop and the things I print smear. I have never had that problem with laser printers in the past.

Great Printer for a Great Price

The HL-2270DW set up out of the box was easy and trouble free. Fortunately I already had a USB printer cable to enable the wireless setup - it would be nice to have one supplied with the printer for those who don't have a router for wireless access.
As with all things these days, a PDF file is included on the installation CD instead of a hard copy manual. It took me a few minutes to figure out that double side printing was included under "Duplex Printing", but it works really well - no need to print odd then even pages. It does it all automatically.
In some programs it takes a little time for the print to start, and there is no indication of progress. But once the first print is established everything is acceptable.

I love my brother

The only complaint i have is the starter toner cartridge i only got 110 pages before i got toner low
messages the reviews i read before said the norm is 1200 so you can imagine my disappointment when tax time i had to go buy a refill so soon i went laser because i was fed up with ink jet

I bought the HL-2270DW recently. Installation was easy and smooth. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and am completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend it.

Happy with My Printer

CON: I hate the fact that it tells me (over and over and over again) that my printer cartridge is low for months before I need it and, that it decided for me when it is empty. The printer stopped printing, giving me a message that the cartridge was empty, when the page before looked as good as the first page. As a result, I am left wondering if Brother is forcing me to buy a new cartridge early.
