Good value for money spent

Pros: Good print quality. Priced right. Wireless or wired printing available. Can print legal sized paper. Good print speed once machine wakes up.
Cons: Bulky - Takes up too much space. Takes too long to wake up and print 1st page, after that print speed is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Reliable and Affordable

This is the second Brother Laser printer I've had and both have served me well. The HL-2270DW is nearly trouble free and the printed images are clear and crisp. The only disappointment is the "starter" toner cartridge did not last as long as expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent printer but difficult to install

Once I finally got the wireless feature installed on this printer, it works wonderfully. The print is crisp and clear and you can print from any place in the room. I haven't tried from outside of the room. The printer is fast and prints on both sides of the paper very well. If you're going to install the wireless feature, use the printer cable, that is the easiest way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had the printer for eight months and I have not complaints. I have not used the wireless connection just the USB cable from the printer to my laptop. The print quality is good and there are no paper jams. A minor annoyance is the printer is noisy when printing, but it bothers my cat more than me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brother 2270DW solid laser printer

We have had this printer for several months. It has performed very well. I am using it on a mixed network of Windows 7, Windows XP and OpenSuse Linux 12.1 machines (64 and 32 bit). It is set to print wirelessly. We have had minor problems when our network addresses went haywire after a power failure. The printer reset to factory default which I did not expect. The problem was easy to fix. The printer has very good text printing. I don't use it for graphics, but the test pictures seem fine. The duplex function works flawlessly even from my Linux system.

Compact economical B&W Laser

Easy to set-up. Clear concise automatic duplex (both sides of papaer) printing.This saves paper, especially when you print something that un-intentionally runs slightly over one page (like printouts from websites often do). Easy to use bypass (manual) feed on front of machine.

Works as advertised! Duplex is fast and a great paper saver. Economical printing, I will never go back to ink jet and constantly replacing cartridges!
