This printer is exactly what I wanted and I am pleased with it in all ways except one. Keeps giving me out of toner error messages when clearly it is not out of toner. Would prefer NO messages. After all I can tell just by looking if printing becomes faint. Do not need or want out of toner error message!

Compact and PERFECT

I am in love with HL-2270DW! This printer is the perfect size to fit on top of my tall four drawer verticle file; balances beautifully on a wire rack that allows me to store an extra ream of copy paper underneath; and delightfully holds about half a ream in the built-in drawer that feeds the paper for printing. The speed of the printing is true to the specified speed in the Brother description. The ease of changing the toner cartridge must have been engineered just for me and my weak,old hands. And BEST OF ALL, I can enjoy perfect printing on both sides of the page for my writer's critique group. THANK YOU BROTHER!

Great Printer

Purchased this printer approx 3 months ago to replace an older Brother Laser. This printer is much nicer than my old one, and it has performed well so far. Setup was easy on my wireless network, and I was able to use the Brother print app so I can print from my mobile devices as well. The duplex feature works and has made it easy to help save paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had to replace an old printer and looked at the reviews. Brother came up on the top of the list. A very good choice for us. We will be looking at other Brother products in the future.

Nice fast printer/ wifi a problem

This is a very fast and clean printing machine. Looks like it has better toner economy than earlier machines. I have had no success, though, in connecting any of my home computers to it via wifi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
