Great little worker

This little machine is compact, light and efficient. It fits in a small place and produces sharp bold prints quickly. My only frustration is the wireless connectivity. If you don't use it right away, the system seems to go to "sleep" and the computer can't see it anymore. You have to restart the computer in order to "see" the printer again. This may be computer or driver software problem. Don't know for sure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HL-2270DW Compact Laser Printer

This is the best printer I have ever owned. It was easy to set it up and the Wireless Networking made it even easier. I have printed many copies using up the printer cartridge that came with the printer. The copies are very clear and distinct. Changing the cartridge was very easy. It's a great product and I recommend it to anyone who does a lot of printing in black and white..

Great and fast printer

Having to purchase a new printer as my old(12 years+) was not compatable.I purchased the printer based on price and consumer guide reviews. It"s a great mavhine and it holds a half ream of paper at a time. great feature.
I place a piece of colored paper near the bottom to alert me to reload. works to a tee. just a great machine!

I enjoy my broyher 2270 no bugs found , I love being able to print from anywhere in the house or the backyard, the price is a home run in my book !

I have long wanted a duplex printer & this was the first one I could afford. It prints clearly, reliably & wireless is a 'bonus' that means it can be located farther from the clutter of the computer work area.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'v been spoiled!

The geat reviews by others are justified.Its my first laser printer.The duplex printing will spoil you.Because it prints on both sides which saves paper.I don't use the wireless.I'm okay with the usb cable.The HL-2270DW reduced my previous cartridge printers as relics.Plus its quite affordable and a very good product.

Compact Brother B&W laser doubleside - AOK

8/6/12: I have owned the Brother HL-2270DW for a few months now. It is a small inexpensive B&W wireless 2-sided laser printer. It prints fast and clear enough. Paper handling is good.
It does have a few minor shortcomings:
(1) It badly wrinkles envelopes - so I print envelopes on my Brother 3-in-1 inkjet instead.
(2) The manual feed 'tray' is too small - a compromise of small size I suspect.
(3) It's fan is a bit loud, but fortunately it spends most of its time "sleeping".
(4) It has idiot lights in place of a LCD panel.

The above shortcomings are easy to accept, especially when you consider the low cost and small size. I'm glad to get some office space back. Much cheaper to operate than my old HP (which was still working but I gave away on FreeCycle).
I am impressed with the Brother brand. Software support is good.

Really nice B&W printer

Pretty easy to setup - had it up and running in about 10 mins. Works fast, doesn't use up much toner. Would definitely buy again.
