Excellent product

I have purchased several Brother business machines and have been very pleased with the results. The HL-2270DW is no exception. The quality and speed of printing are exceptional for this size and price machine. A great value. Having high volume cartridges is a big plus and they do last a good time. As a few others have pointed out, the setup is a little involved but doable and worth the effort. papers in the front byoass skew a little to the right but have not run this by support. My temporary solution is ro put checks in the front loading paper draw. No problem. I was a copier tech in another life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cortado print app is ok but why does it take so many steps just to print a picture from my camera roll.

Great Printer

The HL-2270DW is the 2nd Brother printer I have owned. It is fast & quiet. Being able to print on 2 sides helps save trees. I used the wireless mode so all of our devices can access it from anywhere in the house. I am really happy with it.

Excellent printer. The WiFi connection lets me use from any computer in the house. I like the capability to print on both sides of a page.

It is fast and gives a nice print job, but
1. I really don't like the fact that it makes the lights flicker when I print. I can't believe that Brother can't figure out how to smooth out the power pulse so that this doesn't happen. I'm on a 20 amp circuit, which should be adequate.
2. If there is a way to figure out how much "ink" is left, I haven't found it.

It is completely reliable; hard to believe it is a wireless device.

Generally I am very happy with this purchase. I purchased specifically for the duplex printing and the wireless operation. The duplex printing is generally pretty good but if you print more that 10 pages (double sided) at a time you chances of the paper jamming increases. Secondly when I originally set up the printer wirelessly with the included CD everything connected but this process seemed complicated. When I upgraded my Mac operating system I lost wireless connectivity and I did not have the CD to try and reconnect. Brother CS tried to help me through the process but I was unable to achieve wireless operation. I wound up connecting the printer to my Airport Extreme via a USB Cable so that it can be used by all printers on my network. I do have a competitors inkjet wireless printer and no matter how many times I have upgraded my Mac operating system the wireless connectivity with the competitors product never failed to connect wirelessly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
