Nice change from ink jet

I purchased this printer because I was tired of the expense associated with ink jets printers. I was always buying ink cartridges. The jets would get clogged because my printer use is very low and infrequent. A friend told me about the advantages of laser printers. I shopped around and found this printer to be well reviewed. I didn't need colour printing, so black & white was perfect. Well I am extremely pleased with the performance of this printer and love the wireless feature. This is the best printer I have ever owned. The print quality is good, the speed is fine for my type of use. If you need a single colour printer this is the one to own.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast Laser for Every Day Print Jobs

I bought the HL-2270DW as an inexpesive means of printing most emails and other documents. I used Brother's technical support service during set-up. Once operational it was less than a 5-minute job to add it to a second computer. Print speed and quality are excellent and I am also enjoying the wireless and duplex print features. One of the best design features is the paper tray which tucks completely into the unit with standard letter-size paper. Occasionally I get a 'printer offline' message when sending documents, which requires a print cancel and resend. If I could overcome this issue this printer would meet all my B&W operational needs and I would give it 5 stars.

Easy to set up for network printing with windows 7 just add it to your home group
Had to call customer support about how to print 2 pages on 1 paper. The default does not allow you to have the option, Little noisy but its ok

Wireless printer is outstanding - printing is fast and clear. Only drawback is the pricey toner. Otherwise this is a great buy even though I got this as a gift from my son.
Outstanding feature is all black ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!
