Good Product Backed by Good People

My wife uses the Laser Printer, because she makes jewelry in which she inscribes written messages and pictures. She needs a good laser printer. Shortly after buying the Compact Laser Printer (HL-2280DW, we changed our modem. We had to setup the printer to work with our remote laptops. The Brother was harder to setup than some other printers. Brother Technical Support guided us through it. Some other technical support experts have thick accents and their instructions are not so straightforward.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brothers Laser Printer

Works fine. I'm able to get good copies and I like being able to print wifi, that is, without a cable between printer and computer. I had some difficulty getting the printer to print in "Toner Save Mode," but with some friendly help from members of Brother's technical staff, I was able to get the printer to print in that Mode, thus helping to save the cost of toner. However, I have not been able to get as many copies from a toner cartridge as the number suggested by Brothers.

Small and Fast

I was surprised that the printer is about the same size as the Inkjet I replaced. The speed that it produces printed pages was another pleasant surprise.
The only difficulty I have experienced, and the reason I rated 4 stars in place of 5, was with the wireless setup. I tried numerous times, with and without a USP cable, and was ready to call Brother for help when I tried one more time and that last time worked and the printer has worked perfectly since.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I own five of these and just love them. I also like the fact that I can use the same toner in the MFC-7860DW (I own two of these). It does all that I need and I am able to run my business and a busy home.

Great Printer!

This printer is really nice. It prints fast and the quality is great. The only downside is the included toner cartridge. The toner low warning came on at 335 pages and it is supposed to be around 750 I believe. At the moment I have 359 pages on that same cartridge and going good. When this one dies I see no reason to change manufacturers.

Great printer

I have had this printer for a short while. Has a small footprint, is quiet, does a beautiful job, and didn't cost an arm or a leg. I used the software to set it up for a wireless connection and now my wife can access it with her ibook and ipad!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Good Product

I have read some reviews that this printer is noisy, it is NOT. It makes some noise when printing and fan is on, but not to interrupt talking next to it, when not in use it makes no noise. It is fast. Set-up was easy on a Mac. The printer has the toner part numbers on the printer, very nice. I give this printer 5 stars, Excellent buy, networking, ease of use and works good. I use every part of this printer, it all works excellent. Thanks Brother.
