Brother Laser Printer

For years I have struggled with printers, with dried up ink cartridges, replacement printheads, etc., when finally a neighbor recommended this printer. While I do miss the ability to copy and scan, this printer PRINTS!!! Now that may sound strange, but it's always been a bit like buying a vacuum that doesn't suck...until now. It prints! Quickly, completely, never complains, never jams...it always performs! I just ordered the big toner cartridge and may actually outlive the one that came with it. When it need it, it PRINTS!!! Amazing! I LOVE IT!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer had way too many steps to follow to add a wireless device. Other products can be detected and then the password of the computer installed and then you have a working device.
The customer service is horror. As an American I am horrid that when I need service my call is re-routed to some third world country that does not have to comply with any rules, laws or regulations. I will now crusade to pass laws that state the company has to hire personnel within the state the product is purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple and effective says it all

This printer is as advertised. It prints brilliantly in black and white. The high quality printing is due to the fact that it is a Brother printer and a Laser to boot.
It simply prints in monochrome and that was all I need it to do. The duplex feature comes in handy by saving on the amount of paper I will use when it comes to printer.
I had a little program installing it, but that was due to not following the easy to use instructions.
It was a good deal for a Brother Laser printer.
If someone needs an easy and easy to use monochrome Laser printer, then I recommend that they buy this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful printer

I love this printer. It works well every time. It is totally easy, even for a non-tech person like me. Very fast, reliable, user friendly. A great purchase.
By the way, the inexpensive Brother printer-copier-scanner I bought more than five years ago is still going strong too!

Nice Machine

I love the printer but have 2 issues with it. First, the original ink that comes with the machine didn't even last for one ream of paper (500 sheets) when the bio says up to 1200 sheets!! And secondly, when it runs low on ink it just closes down with no warning! I was in the middle of an important project at work and had to run out and get more ink! It took me a little while to realize that was the problem since most printers just print lighter till it runs out. This has perfect copies and then just shuts down!

Perfect Replacement

I purchased this printer to replace another Brother Laser printer that worked perfectly for many years until it became cost prohibitive to keep replacing the drum.
This printer is much faster and works perfectly for my small home office needs. I would buy another one in a second.

The HL-2270DW is a work horse. Easy to maintain and toner is cheaper than ink. Love this printer.
