I absolutely love this printer and is the third Brother printer in this family that I have purchased. I upgraded to the Duplex Wireless for the sake of convenience and have not been disappointed. Extremely easy to use and the print is perfect for my needs.
Anyone looking for a compact and efficient B&W laser printer should look no further. Brother has done it again with a cost efficient solution.

I like it. I miss the scanner, copy function of a multi unit, but it was inexpensive and wireless. I needed Brother's helpline to set up the wireless, and will likely always need them as the set up was beyond my ability. I wish wireless setup was easier and that their helpline had more hours as this is a home unit so it was difficult coordinating time to sit on the phone with them.

prints just fine. However it prints envelopes like terrible. Plus you can only load one envelope at a time. Really, thats the best you can do?

Excellent product for the price

I got this print as a refurb unit and I have to say I am impressed. Not only does it function flawlessly in regular printing and Duplex mode, it also came with the same warranty as the new printers do for much less money. I switched from a Panasonic laser printer because there is no driver for Windows 7. I have printed more than 700 pages without a hitch. Thanks Brother.

No better printer for the money!

I use this printer very often and it has yet to let me down. The wireless feature is great; I don't have to have a dedicated network PC for the printer.
The duplex feature is great for me because I hate wasting paper.
I highly recommend this printer for anyone wanting one in this price range. It's simply a champ.

Great printer - lose the software!

In terms of print quality I couldn't be happier. I wish the fan didn't stay on so long after a print job, but I'm getting used to that.
What I absolutly DON'T like is the software that tells me the toner is low WAY before I need to replace it. I mean, I'm getting more use out of the toner AFTER the warning than I got BEFORE the warnings. I wish I could just defeat the warning feature. I think I can figure out when the toner is running low all by myself.

Great Laser Printer

This was easy to set up, have all 4 laptops and the desktop all using this printer wirelessly (3 different operating systems). No issues at all. Notifies me of Firmware updates, no need to check if there are updates. Just about takes care of itself.
Perfect for the home, with school age or in my case college age students, double sided printing is a bonus. Great product at a great price.
This printer has already paid for itself, and is still going strong.
I would recommend this to a friend!
