Good machine

Have just finished installing on my home network and am pleased with the way it went. Have not had a real chance to test the printing freatures such as duplex and booklet. So far am well pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall a fast printer. The disappointing feature is that it only allows a person to put one sheet in the single-sheet feeder and there is no physical support for that sheet. I like to use alternate paper frequently, and one can only print one sheet at a time; the second sheet in a file gets printed then with the paper that is in the primary paper feed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Prints clean, fast and quietly.
We are getting a warning message to change the cartridge and will continue to print until it stops looking solid and clean. New cartridge is on standbye so we won't have any downtime. The only question is the yield on the new cartridge. So far so great.

Fabulous asset

Inexpensive, efficient, and small footprint. This machine does everything and more that I was hoping it would. Setting up took mere moments with my MacBookPro and I was off and running. Can access it from anywhere in my home, as necessary.
I bought this because I needed wireless access to a laser printer (my existing printer is wired and not network capable). I may be selling the previous unit, after so many years of dependable service. But, time marches on and the new Brother HL-2270DW looks like a great replacement.
The output is fast, quiet, and very attractive. Ok, at least as attractive as a black and white laser printer can be... it isn't color.
If Brother continues with this kind of quality and pricing, can't see why when other units require replacement, it won't be the brand of choice.
OK, there has to be a down side... there is.. the paper tray could be bigger... But, that's it. I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend it. (and no, I don't work for the company or get paid for these.. .this is first highly positive review I've given for any product...most are good to better than that.. this is great machine for the purpose and the price.)

I love this printer. I have printed over 3000 pages since buying this printer. I have not had 1 missed page, jam or misalignment. Print quality is great even with Toner Save on. Set up was simple and duplex printing is easy compared to the Inkjet printer I used to use and I will save quite a bit on toner, where previously I was changing ink cartridges every month. I run reports every other day and save about 1/2 an hour each time I run the reports. I highly recommend the Brother HL-227ODW.

One of the best printers ever! Brother as come along way with there products as a Tech. in the late 90's they were not user friendly, but a nice 180 degree turn about. Great Job Brother.

Excellent printer for the money

I've had my HL-2270DW for a couple of months now and am 100% satisfied with it. It was very reasonably priced, easy to set up, and prints sharp high-quality pages. I might quibble a bit with a few of the decisions regarding (re-)configuration, namely I think that the web-based configuration tool should be easier to use and a bit more comprehensive, but that's only a quibble. Count me in as a very satisfied customer.
