This dishwasher has been a pain

I have owned this dishwasher for a little less than three years and it has been a problem. I have had 5 different issues. I would not recommend this. I was so excited to have a new dishwasher and the the original reviews were positive. Fast forward to the last couple of days- I thought I was going to have to replace it, but now it started working again after my husband took it apart three times and put it back together. We took three of the parts over to an appliance parts store and they tested them and they worked, but the dishwasher wouldn't. Finally tonight with our fingers crossed and my son threatening the machine it scared it back into working. We will see for how long.
Pros: stainless steel cleans up well.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was good looking, all the same features of the high-end dishwashers from other brands but for less money. Unfortunately, just like my Samsung fridge, it's junk. This thing began stopping mid-cycle a year ago with an oE error code and last week that error became permanent. Dishwasher no longer functional. I'm really surprised because my mom's old dishwasher (not a Samsung) lasted 30 years and I thought I was buying a better dishwasher. Samsung appliances have "taken Me to the cleaners."
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Does not clean well

We've had it for a few years now and we have never been able to get it to clean the way it should. We've tried all suggestions and used manufacturer recommendations. Dishes still come out with food on them, sometimes oily, sometimes with a film.

We had our dishwasher for 5 years and at least a couple times a year, it was down for an OE code. We had purchased a maintenance agreement for this appliance and it paid for itself in service calls. We replaced the drain pump twice, drain hoses and even the motherboard on this and 6 mos. later the code returns yet again! Unfortunately, I wasn't saving all the repair receipts (and they didn't keep good records either) so I have no proof to be able to get this machine deemed "a lemon". I don't usually write reviews but I do read them before I make a major purchase. I am warning prospective buyers to look elsewhere! We threw in the towel and just purchased a Maytag...

product preforms but quality control is a big issue with all their products. i have all their appliances and i'm running out of vacation days to meet the repairman.

Never worked - Samsung wont help- what a nightmare

purchased for a flip. a year later installed for the 1st time. ran 2 mins, got 1st of many error codes. called sams’g, it was out of warranty had to pay for serv. tried troubleshooting got more codes.
