Looks good, smells terrible

The dishwasher cleans the dishes well, but it doesn't dry them. Even when I use the sanitize option, I still have to towel dry the dishes. That's not so bad. What's bad is the smell. If I leave dishes sit in the dishwasher more than one day the smell is so horrible that I gag when I open the door. My other dishwashers had plastic tubs (they never smelled), so I thought this was how all stainless tubs smelled, until asked people who have stainless tubs. Evidently, this is just a Samsung issue. Also, there aren't enough cycle options. Basically just on and off. I had planned to purchase the other Samsung stainless appliances by the end of the year, but I think I'll choose another brand.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible smell doesn't dry well
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this dishwasher for 8 months and no matter what cycle we choose or how we load the washer we are unable to get all dishes clean in one cycle.
It is quiet and and delay start feature is nice but it doesn't make up for having to hand wash remaining dirty items or have to run the cycle again.

I can't recommend this product

We have had this dishwasher for 11 months and it has been serviced twice already. If it is not in sanitize mode the dishes will not get clean. Also it has a smell about it after only a few hours of being filled. I would not buy this again.
Pros: looks good
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Bough this one year ago and broken getting error codes, Bought a OTR Microwave also and had it repaired three times. I would not recommend any Samsung Appliances see for yourself read all reviews before buying

looks nice, real quiet but doesn't clean well

This is an extremely quiet DW but it doesn't clean the dishes well even if I rinse them. and the dishwasher racks are awkward to place my thin plates in. My cereal and soup bowls are a real challenge. My old DW did a better job of cleaning the dishes. This seems to dry them fairly well but bakes on the dirt that did not get washed off. I hate having to check everything for cleanliness.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, doesn't clean well, awkward dish placement

Disappointed that I needed to replace a simple sensor to repair dishwasher within 2 years of installation. Electronics should be more durable.
