Dishwasher does a great job. I usually choose the "Quick" cycle because other cycles seem long, unless I'm letting it run at bedtime.

It is uber quiet which is a real change from my last dishwasher. Doesn't seem to dry well, however.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

not happy with stainless

My major gripe with this dishwasher, is the stainless has 2 streaks down the front that drive me crazy. You can only see them in certain light but they shouldn't be there. Also, the dishwasher stopped working and needed service 1 year after purchase. I asked repairman about the 2 streaks in front while he replaced the sensor that went bad and he said they were defects in stainless, not water stains like I thought they were. It cleans dishes well but the rack design on the bottom makes it difficult to place bowls because the tongs are to long.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, stainless not high quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

D/W looks great and seems to have good features, But, it does not dry dishes very well.
Pros: looks great
Cons: dry cycle poor

Thanks for the feedback. Fortunately, the issue of the dishes being dry can be addressed with some basic tips. The DW80F800 and other Samsung Dishwashers use a Condensation Drying system to help save energy. To maximize the drying performance, be sure to use a rinse aid, select the Sanitize option (when appropriate for the dishes you're washing), and leave the door closed until the cycle is complete. Since this system relies on the residual heat on the dishes to evaporate the water, plastics may not dry completely since they don't retain heat well.

Very Quiet Operation

I made this purchase of a dishwasher out of necessity because my old one broke and was not economically repairable. This machine was an upgrade to my old one. It has very quiet operation, but it does not dry the dishes well. It never has dried the dishes well since day one. Recently it has been displaying an error message that clears after several iterations of resetting the power.
Pros: quiet
Cons: Did not meet expectations, leaves dishes wet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the nicest dishwasher ever

I love my new dishwasher it has a garbage disposer it has lots of room my dishes come out nice and clean you can wash a partial load or full load the glasses and silver ware come out very shiny the plates and bowls and pots and pans I use it on a daily basis it is awesome I love the stainless steel look it was a anniversary present from my husband I love my new kitchen
Pros: dishes come out sparkling clean
Cons: takes time to learn how to use it

Poor Cleaning

Me and my wife purchased this dishwasher to match the other Samsung SS appliances in our kitchen remodel. The others I'm quite happy with. However, although this dishwasher is much quieter than the old unit, it does not clean half as well. The dishes and silverware on the bottom seem to clean O.K., but the glasses and coffee cups do not clean good at all. This is quite disappointing. I have tried several different soaps. The results remain the same. I definitely would not recommend the purchase of this model to anyone.
Pros: quiet, attractive, nice controls
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor top shelf cleaning

Love how quiet and the design looks great in the kitchen, but with the repairs if it breaks after this repair cost I will have to purchase a new/brand
