What's great about it: Their Best Work, including album title cut
The Chambers Brothesr, an L.A. based soul group, finally hit the big time with this album, their third release. A critically acclaimed performance
at the 1995 Newport Folk Festival began their ascent and culminated in this work 3 years later.
"Time Has Come Today" is an 11 minute masterpiece which ironically peaked at #11 for 5 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition, all of the other cuts are way above average.
As a side note, the title cut also inspired ESPN's Chris Berman to use that phrase when broadcasting San Diego Chargers games.
The "time has come" for this album to be purchsed and enjoyed by every collector and soul fan.
