Doen't dry !!!

Very disappointed in this product. Everything is wet when it's finished with it's cycle. It just does a very poor job of drying the dishes, glasses, etc. I would suggest buying another model.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, doesn't dry the dishes well
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it runs fast, quiet and cleans great! It didn't cost too much Money and was easy to install.

We have been totally please with our Samsung dishwasher. It is efficient, QUIET, and dishes are thoroughly clean each and every load. Our experiences with other major brand dishwashers have been frustrating at best - with the number one complaint is the noise. We can now run our dishwasher when we go to sleep without the noise. We are sold on Samsung kitchen appliances!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, affordable, quiet
I would recommend this to a friend!

We purchased this a little over a year ago and struggled to get dishes clean. It doesn’t clean the dishes well at all and they are always very wet when the cycle finishes. We have to hand dry everything that comes out of the washer or let them sit in a dish rack on the counter before we put them away. The dishwasher has not stopped working and I need to call a repair person to come out. I purchased a dishwasher 3 years prior in a different home for less money that would clean circles around this one and it never once had a problem. As other reviews have noted, I will never buy a Samsung product again. TV’s are junk and so are their kitchen appliances.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaply made, full of defects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] dishwasher feels cheaply made. has fun defects, too. 1 of 3 spray arms doesn't work and the unit doesn't properly heat the water. no more samsung appliances for us.

Buy this dishwasher!

This dishwasher makes your dishes come out, looking like new! Luckily, mine broke and I found this one. It sanitizes my dishes too. I had no idea that my old dishwasher was so bad until I got my new one. Treat yourself to the new technology. No more heating coils that use too much energy. My new dishwasher makes me smile when I do the dishes. :)
Pros: best dishwasher for $500.

Great Dishwasher

I recently purchased this dishwasher. Before I did, I read all the reviews I could find. I found it interesting that several folks said it did not dry the dishes. Here's my review, including thoughts on that point.
First of all... great dishwasher. Super quiet and cleans really well. I also like how the inside can be easily configured for pots, plates, etc. The one negative is that the silverware baskets come off really easy. I wish they were more permanently attached.
As for the drying issue. I upgraded to this dishwasher from a high end unit of another brand that was about 7 years old. This dishwasher dries the same as that one. At the end of the cycle, I usually wait several hours before opening. The dishes are 95% dry.
In doing my research, I see that most "high end" dishwashers do not have heated drying. I've never owned a cheap dishwasher that does, so I don't know the difference. To me, a little water on my dishes at the end is no big deal.
I really like this dishwasher and would recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

unable to leave my honest thoughts due to a "character max" clearly intended to dissuade the detailing of specific issues. briefly: this is the worst dishwasher i have ever had.
