Works well. Good cable length. Easy setup.

I had no problems installing this IR reciever and it works very well. All my AV equipment is now inside of a cabinet.

What's great about it: Works great during the day
What's not so great: Doesn't work at night.
The eye works fine during the day time. However, at night you need a light shining on it in order for the remote to be seen by the eye. So when you are trying to watch a movie/show at night you need to keep a light on which takes away a bit from the movie/show or you have to turn a light on and off every time you want to change the channel or pause the show/movie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
