Luxury fridge from our previous old skool fridge

Owned this for a few months after remodeling our kitchen and discovered how much pricier counter depth fridges are. I finally pulled the trigger on this after a lot of research. We cook alot and it has alot of space for condiments, big milk gallons, leftovers storage containers, yogurts, drinks etc. Love the long skinny middle drawer. We eat alot of cheese so that's our cheese drawer. I personally dont like the alarm when door is open so have that turned off. Love that the ice cube shapes are small enough to fit in my daughters sippy cups. I wish it was a little less expensive but its worth it if it lasts a long time--time will tell! Overall, no regrets!

cheap plastic

the refrigerator might look nice, yet inside is cheap plastic and has broken more than once, the drawers just plain broke and we'll probably just pull them out. We have had a frigerator for over twenty years in the past and now to have paid so much for something cheap is outrageous!

I guess I never realized how handy a ice maker is until we got this refrigerator. It is so nice to always have a ice tray full of ice we use a lot of ice cubes and it keeps up without any issues. We also like the l.e.d. lights and all the room this is one very nice refrigerator. We actually had bought a different one and when I looked at the reviews I called the store and told them I want to change my order and go with this Lg and we are so glad we did..........

Love at first sight

I seriously love this refrigerator. I am an energy conservation manager for a power company and I made plans to buy all new appliances during my state's Energy Star sales tax holiday. First order of business was finding a Tier III (most energy efficient in class), bottom-freezer model, with no ice or water in the door (they waste energy) and I found this model online. I looked this model up on www.enervee.com and it scored a 96 out of a perfect 100 in terms of energy efficiency. When it was delivered it was love at first sight (I've been assured it's not a sin to actually love an appliance.....thank goodness!). Love having the four storage drawers above. Easy to fit and organize everything in the freezer below. And love the LED interior lighting! I did remove the upper right shelf to make room for tall bottles (yep, the vino!). There's another LG french door unit that has a sliding shelf to allow for tall bottles as needed so maybe I can order it as an accessory part.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Excellent Refridgerator

The space above is excellent. Able to fit everything needed on the shelves, and the drawers are used well. The freezer could be a little bigger but still very well spaced.
The only change I would make is a sensor for the ice maker. The ice maker will still dispense ice with the door open. I think this should stop when the drawer is out.

One of my favorite parts of this purchase was the option of not having the water and ice component on the door. We didn't need it and the fridge looks great without it.

Ice maker hasn't worked yet

We bought this product, had it installed Sept. 19th.....we still don't get ice. It took 14 minutes to get the LG customer service people to agree to send someone out.....they should be here in an hour or so. Don't buy LG refrigerators until they get the ice maker problem under control. I'm a pretty easy going person and this isn't okay for the money we paid.
Pros: easy to use

Great French Door fridge

We wanted a basic french door fridge - without the ice maker / water dispensor in the front door. We drink alot of water (very active) and have a reverse osmosis filter at the sink. So when we bike, play tennis, hike, etc., we take reusable water bottles with us. We fill those bottle from the filtered tap at the sink and place in the fridge to cool. We also did not want to loose valuable door space that would be taken up by an ice / water dispenser.
We found that most refridgerators that do not have the ice / water dispenser are lowere quality. Not so with this fridge. Very high quality and very energy efficient.
We spent several months reading reviews and shopping around before selecting this fridge.
Also very much liked the freezer configuration.
