There is limited space in the top part of the refrigerator to store large items (e.g., milk). The freezer space is adequate.

More efficient use of space

My wife wanted a bottom freezer unit so the shelves would be larger in top...so we moved the side by side into garage. The unit is same size as one we already had so I was not prepared for it to be that much different when storing foods in either freezer or refrigerator sections. Wow was I wrong...the LED lighting is fantastic, the digital temp control is outstanding, and it is huge inside. The same amount of food that made the other feel cramped leave additional room inside of the new LG. The shelves pull out for easy cleaning and access...the door storage is massive with gallon jugs of milk fitting easily...and the freezer is cavernous.
The only regret is I should have spent the extra money to get the one with icemaker in door but it takes up so much room I would have needed to get the 29cu ft instead of 25 cu ft to make up for the lost space...then again I might have been pleasantly surprised there as well.
The only negative was the ice maker fill spout was missing tray some and allowing overspray to get into the ice bucket therefore making everything in it a solid block of unusable ice. Repairman came and trouble shot situation and after trying new icemaker we decided to see if we could affect the stream of water entering spout. The fix---pulling the flexible hose from rear of unit that lays inside of unit wall where it goes into a much larger solid pipe that has the funnel spout on end. It was adjusted so it just came to the end of the opening from inside and now works perfectly. If yours is doing this.. they can call me or my repair guy logged into system as easier to explain than write. It is perfect now and wife does not mind ice in drawer as she is so happy with interior space, layout, and lighting. It is a win- win especially when entertaining and we now are able to put prepared dishes in refrigerator ahead of time.

Sleek and Efficient

I did a lot of researching before purchasing this refrigerator (CEE efficiency stats, Consumer Reports, reviews from just about every major distributor) and this unit came out on top in almost every aspect. I've had the refrigerator for about 6 months now, and have absolutely no complaints. There is plenty of room for food for four adults, and the layout makes it easy to find what you are looking for. I considered getting the counter-depth version, but couldn't justify paying more for less space. However, the unit is so sleek and stylish, you hardly notice it coming out 3 inches past the countertop. I love it so much that I recommended it to a friend who has been extremely satisfied with her purchase as well.

Can you really fall in love with a refridgerator?

I did! Wow! It's beautiful..quiet..spacious. The freezer,
with it's slide-out drawers and tilt shelf allow for easy visual inventory. Crisper bins bring food right to your fingertips and after the holidays with all the leftovers...we still have room to spare.

Awesome Fridge!

This refrigerator holds so much food! I went from a side by side to this style and couldn't be happier. It's easy to use, clean and has some great features. With small kids the door alarm is great. That has come in handy many times. I have had parties where I can finally fit all my party food in.

This fridge does its job.

Our previous refrigerator was a lemon. We couldn't get it set to the proper temperature and the vegetables and fruits froze in their drawer. This refrigerator has been wonderful so far. It's just the right size, and I love the French door style. The vegetables and fruits are kept chilled at the right temperature. I haven't had to throw anything away. We're really happy with it.
