Very Nice Fridge.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have this unit for two weeks and am very happy with a number of the features, specifically the counter-dept, the deli tray, the quiet operation and the overall sleek looks. Since I have only had top freezer models in the past, the bottom freezer takes a bit of getting used to and the capacity seems a bit tight but any inconvenience is made up by having the well designed and well lit refrigerator sections. Overall, pleased with this purchase.

So Far...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ...So good. Bought this good-looking French-door fridge just before vacation and came back a month later to find it in perfect condition. Had turned off the ice-maker, so that wasn't a problem (it quickly produced a new, full bucket of ice). I notice that the temperature remains constant, both in the refrigerator and the freezer. There's plenty of light inside both compartments, and my wife loves the slide-away shelf. I use the bottom drawer to keep a 12-pack of Yuengling always ice-cold and at the ready. As I said, "So far, so good." I don't like to tempt the fates.

Great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator has operated as expected. The shelves and drawers are well placed making items easy to get to. Even though the depth is adjusted to match the counter, it is large and has a lot of capacity.

Great spacious fridge

LG 21 cubic ft fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit provides plenty of shelf space on both doors especially 2 shelves that hold gallon containers.The cold drawer is very nice since the temp can be adjusted to be colder than the fridge temp......I checked it with a thermometer. The freezer contains a sliding drawer that provides extra space. Temperatures are easy to adjust. Overall it is a very nice fridge that provides plenty of space.

Good Fridge But a Couple of Big Downsides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge because of its brand reputation, simplicity, and price value. I've had it for three months now, and it's a solid fridge with plenty of interior space. I like that it doesn't have all those fancy feature that have the potential to break down one day. However, it has some major drawbacks. The fruit and vegetable bins are too small. Instead of two large bins side by side, there are three -- two medium bins separated by a narrow one in the center. Because of this, it is impossible to fit long vegetables in the drawers, like carrots and celery, unless I cut them down to size. Also, this fridge makes loud, annoying knocking noises periodically. It sounds like there is something dropping inside. I do not have the icemaker connected, so it's definitely not that. If I lived in a studio apartment, this noise would probably keep me up at night. I've read other people complain about the noise, but LG seems to deny that this is a problem.
