Best features of any refrigerator I researched

I researched six different brands before selecting LG. It was definitely the right choice for our home. Mostly we're impressed with the ice-maker,which produces cubes rather than the most common half-moon type. We are also impressed with its quietness and interior looks.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, quietness

Very nice refrigerator

Love the cabinet-depth, lots of drawers, and the pull out freezer drawer rolls easy and smooth. The French door design is nice not having a large door swinging out into the kitchen. Setting up the shelves and door racks was easy. Thanks so much for the door alarm, since some family members have always had a problem closing frig doors. The overall look and design is great. This is my second cabinet-depth frig and I know they seem huge, but if you have the room they are so worth it.

Good size, lots of room

I can store a lot of food in this fridge. The adjustable shelves are great for tall bottles of juice or wine.
I have had a problem with the right door not closing tight - and the alarm does not sound off. It is only open an inch, something that you don't even notice. I've learned to always push the door, just to make sure it is closed.
Same thing with the freezer.. you need to push it shut, it doesn't self close.
The lower drawer can be a pain in the butt because the French doors need to be opened in order to open it.
I have the stainless steel front and it has taken me awhile to learn how to clean it and to keep fingerprints to a minimum (works most times), and I really like it now. I was ready to pitch it because it always looked dirty.
Wish the stainless steel was magnetic. Miss having things on the front of it!

great interior and exterior

My old refrigerator was 30+ years old and making noises when the compressor came on so decided to search for a new one before the old one "gave up the ghost". Looked at many other brands but really liked the clear glass shelves and veggie/meat bins. Checked out the reliability and quality of the LG's and found very good reviews from customers and store employees. I've had my fridge for about a month now and love it except for a few small things. Found that the veggie bins (although larger than my old ones) are not tall enough to accommodate all the vegetables that I purchase. I love all the door shelves cause that's where all my bottles go so it frees up the main refrigerator space. It's nice having lots of space for regular food items instead of bottles, yogurt containers, etc. taking up that space. Great fridge. Very quiet operation (don't even know it's on). Looks very modern.

We just remodeled our kitchen, and this refrigerator looks like a work of art. Absolutely, my favorite appliance! Would recommend to anyone. It has so much space, so it's very easy to find what you are looking for.

Great product so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge 3 months ago and so far so good! The only thing we wish we had was more space for big containers, but to remedy that you can take one shelf out and walla you have space for a bottle of soda or gallon of milk. The alarm for us is good as we have a three year old and she likes to go and leave the door open. If you don't have a hook up for the ice make sure you turn it off as if comes with the ice maker on, we were hearing a funny noise and after little investigating, we found the switch turned it off and the he sounds disappeared. Counter depth is perfect as we have a small kitchen, what you give up in depth you get a little bit back in width and height. Perfect for our small kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Good: The refrigerator compartment. It's well lit and very roomy. Lots of drawers for holding snacks, fruits & veggies.
The Bad: The freezer compartment. The pull out drawer is cheaply made and difficult to pull out. I once removed the ice tray and it was difficult to put back in its proper position. This led to door being ajar and considerable frost forming. The open door alarm did not catch this condition. Also, I was disappointed to learn that the digital readout shows only the set temperature, not the actual temperature of each compartment.
The Ugly: The stainless steel finish too easily shows smudges and fingerprints.

My wife and I purchased this refrigerator March 23, 2018. This refrigerator is not yet 1 year old and has had 4 visits from a local repair company to fix a seal in the freezer which my wife and I are not convinced that it is fixed yet. In addition the ice maker for this refrigerator has stopped working and this refrigerator is not 1 year old. WE WOULD NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR AGAIN, IT HAS BEEN A VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
