Design flaws

Take your camera and hold it as you normally would for taking a photo. If you're like me, you're right index finger will be up towards the button to press to take the photo and your right thumb will be supporting the camera on the bottom right. One problem with this camera, they decided to put the display and menu buttons on the bottom right side where most people place there thumbs. So I have wound up inadvertantly hitting those buttons while attempting to shoot a picture. Also it did not come with a memory card, not a big problem. But it also does not come with a users manual, I imagine Cannon does this now with all their products. You have to acess the users maual on the disc they provided you with. Also once you take a picture with the time stamp it can not be removed. So I'm stuck with some beautiful photos from a vacation that I would like to enlarge but won't be able to beacause of the time stamp.
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, excellent image quality, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Complicated controls/menu

I received this camera as a gift and I haven't had any of the pictues developed yet so can't tell about their quality. My biggest complaint about this camera so far is the fact that an instruction manual is not included with the camera. I want to use it for a vacation and I don't want to print out 108 pages to take along on the trip.

This camera eats batteries

Sorry but this camera is terrible I have never had to change batteries as often as I do with any other piece of gear I have ever owned its quirky and the facial focus can't be overridden if you take it back I will be more than happy to box it up I DO NOT like this camera at all I have had this camera since december in anticipation of the birth of my twins and I can't tell you how man shots I have missed because hte thing takes too long to process a shot, to power up, to save files etc etc etc I can even figure out how to turn the stupid time and date stamp off permanently it comes up every single time I turn the camera on when I DO NOT LIKE any time and date stamp features anyhow I'm here trying to upload to a macbook and guess what NO DRIVER save your money

I knew I made a mistake buying this in November especially when I was told this would be the best price of the year. This is a great camera and you will be happy with it but you might want to hold off buying it now and wait for the next "best price of the year"
Pros: Good Low-Light Performance, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Short battery life

Poor Qaulity

I just recently purchased this camera. I owned a Canon Digital Powershot A2000 IS with 10.0 mega pixels and 6X Zoom. What a great camera and it was stolen, and now I bought this one. The focus is terrible and most of my pictures are blurry. Please tell me where I can find the old Canon Digital Powershot A2000 IS. I've looked everywhere on the Internet and can't find one. That was the best camera I ever owned. Please help me out, find one.

the instructions doen't really help. you can only use the continous shooting with certain modes. Kids and pets should be a setting for continous shooting but its not, the only setting i've found was manual, but it won't flash so you have to do all you continous shooting in day light. don't waste your money.
